Located on the road that goes between Sant Climent and the South Coast, Es Canutells is a quiet beach surrounded by wonderful natural beauty. It is at the mouth of a ravine, between cliffs, and it still retains all of the past's charms: its banks allow you to see some excavated caves, used by fishermen for storage purposes. Despite the fact that it has grown considerably over the last few years, the urban development around the beach still exude a great sense of tranquility. Here you will find facilities that allow you to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay: a bar/restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea, offering you wonderful paellas and delicious tapas, and at a short 5 minute-walk away, a supermarket in which you will be able to get all for your basic necessities. There are also car rental offices and other activities as kayak and bikes rentals.

A short 17 minute drive away from Canutells, in the direction of Binibeca along the coast road, we find some incredible virgin coves, surrounded by dreamy areas, such as Binidalí, Biniparratx or Binisafua. There are other points of interest to be found close-by, such as the quiet and pleasant village of Sant Climent. Located just 8 minutes away by car, it has many facilities, such as local shops with good, local produce, a pharmacy, bakeries, bars, newspapers a fully-stocked supermarket, a lively casino, an enthusiastic collective who organise jazz concerts throughout the year and one of the best restaurants of the island, the unmissable Es Molí de Foc. A few kilometres away, in the tourist enclave of Calan Porter, with its beautiful beach and lively (mainly British) atmosphere, you will find an area that you simply cannot miss during your stay. This is the famous Cova d'en Xoroi. It is a legendary natural grotto, which hangs over a cliff and which has been converted into a bar/lounge/disco. This is the ideal place to watch the magical Menorcan sunsets whilst sipping on a glass of wine, or enjoying one of its exclusive nocturnal parties. Its viewpoint allows you to take pleasure from spectacular views of the sea, at any time of the day.

Just 16 minutes away by car from Canutells, you will be come across the lively town of Mahón. Mahón is made up of the old town, full of charm and history, as well as a spectacular, vibrant harbour, which is the longest in the Mediterranean. The varied and exquisite cuisine on offer is just one of the surprises awaiting us. There are a large number of facilities here, such as big supermarkets, petrol stations, banks, pharmacies, a hospital, hairdressers etc. There are also different activities which may be carried out during peak-season, such as visiting museums and galleries, attending street concerts, taking boat trips etc.
