Trebalúger is a small and quiet rural town, whose history spans centuries. It is located in the municipality of Es Castell. With its charming and unique features, including white houses surrounded by high stone walls, narrow streets and lush gardens, this charming town is a haven of tranquility on the road to the South Coast beaches. It is a small, silent and calm paradise, which is, however, surrounded by many services, just a few kilometres away from some of the island’s most seductive enclaves, making it a coveted residential area.
Dominated by the magical silhouette of a Talaiot, which dates to the first millennium BC, Trebalúger is a perfect place to disconnect from daily stress, take long walks and enjoy the simple and quiet life on offer in the island. It is also an ideal starting point from which you can explore the local attractions, all of which are within a 15 minute drive away. They include beautiful coves as Binibeca and Punta Prima, the old town and harbour of Mahón, the emblematic harbour of Cales Fonts in Es Castell. and some of the island’s best restaurants through which you can enjoy a gastronomic route.
Just 2 minutes away from Trebalúger, the town of Sant Lluís offers everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Created during the French rule of Menorca in the 17th century, we will be welcomed at the entrance by its emblematic mill, Molí de Dalt, which houses an ethnological museum and the tourist information office. In its straight and orderly streets, our customers will find among many other services, several supermarkets and diverse shops with organic products and local crafts, a gas station, banks, bars and restaurants, a pharmacy and medical services. A Catholic and an Anglican church, wineries, taxi stand and urban buses to Mahon and Binibeca, as well as lively markets, concerts and many other public events, always keeping in mind its lively patronal feasts in August, where the Menorquín black horses are the main protagonists.
