Coves Noves is a quiet and exclusive area close to the beautiful beach of Arenal d’en Castell, on Menorca’s north coast unspoiled scenery, with heavenly beaches. The complex is in a wonderful location , enjoying panoramic sea views and excellent facilities. It is separated from the large tourist masses, but it is also strategically located at a short 3 minute drive, or 20 minute walk away, from the beach. The capital Mahón is just 20 minutes away by car.
As well as the fabulous facilities available at the Coves Noves Tennis Club, which include a massive swimming pool, tennis and paddle courts, a pleasant restaurant and bar and children’s activities, the surroundings offer you everything that you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You will not need a car here for your daily needs: a short walk away in the town itself, you will find a well-stocked supermarket (with international newspapers), which is open every day. You will also find a variety of small restaurants, and a bar with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Other facilities available include car hire, a gift shop, a tourist information office and service hire. The stunning Marina Parc water park, beloved by our younger clients, is also a few minutes walk.
The wonderful Arenal d’En Castell beach (a 20 minute walk, or 3 minute drive away), ideal for families, boasts sun loungers and parasols, a beach bar and boat rental. There are many restaurants, bars and shops here, as well as a cash machine, supermarkets, a pharmacy and medical consultations, hairdressers, tourist activities rental,and a diving club, among others.
Many attractions and areas of natural beauty may be found here, allowing you to combine relaxing days with those spent exploring the surrounding areas. These areas are located just a few minutes away by car, or just a short walk away, and include Arenal beach, which is the beginning and the end of two stages of the magical Camí de Cavalls that walks around the island. This walk takes you to the cliffs, giving you spectacular panoramic views, and ends in Son Saura beach. Another nice walk from Coves Noves will take you to the fishing village of Na Macaret, with its charming beach and excellent restaurant. The spectacular natural harbour of Addaia is home to a lively marina, containing a variety of restaurants. There is also the possibility of taking a boat trip through the incredible pristine coves located on the island’s North Coast.
Just 16 minutes away by car, the enchanting fishing village of Fornells is one of the island’s landmarks. It has some marvellous views and there are many activities available for you to enjoy in its spectacular bay. These include pleasant sea-side walks and restaurants (where you can taste the famous lobster stew and delicious paellas). We should not forget that a few minutes away, on the road to Fornells, in the Son Parc development (very close to Son Saura) you will find the island’s only golf course.
At the junction which takes you to Fornells, a few minutes away by car, you may take the road to the Cavallería Lighthouse, with its magical, panoramic views of the wild north coast. A little bit further away, a 30 minute drive away from Coves Noves, you will need to visit one of the island’s most beautiful and unique beaches: Cala Pregonda. This beautiful beach is just a half hour walk away from the Binimel-là beach, along the Camí de Cavalls.
